About Us

Williams-Bayer Industries was established in January 2001 as Tier 2 Automotive components supplier.  Located in Michigan , we manufacture and assemble parts for the domestic big three (GM, Ford, Chrysler)  along with the major Japanese  transplants (Toyota, Honda, Nissan). The background of the principals encompass over 90 years of automotive components manufacturing and assembly experience.

Williams-Bayer Industries offers a vast array of CNC Tube Bending, CNC Tube Cut Off, Catalytic Converter Can Shells, Metal Fabricating, Welding, Staking, Vision Inspection and Assembly Processes.  Our goal is simple; i.e. to supply our customers with competitively priced components and/or assemblies that are defect free and meet or exceed their expectations.

Williams-Bayer Industries is a ISO/TS-16949-2000 company. In addition WBI is a certified Minority Business Enterprise with accreditation from the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC).

Our growth has been a function of our stellar quality and delivery performance especially with the New Domestic (Japanese Transplant) Tier I customers which account for 55% of our business. Our willingness to invest in leading edge technologies enhances our competitive pricing edge. Both recipes have allowed us to meet or exceed the expectations of our customers. Our part/process development activities adhere to the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) guidelines.

In an effort to diversify our business model, WBI has formulated strategic relationships/partnerships that not only allow diversification, but also broaden our footprint into  non automotive sectors.
